The development team consists of all team members working towards achieving the goal. Scrum teams are cross functional, that means everyone in the team will use all their skills to achieve the final goal of the project.
Scrum is a framework that helps small teams break down a task into manageable goals. Scrum masters are project managers who ensure the framework is followed. They typically work in software development, but may also find employment at finance, construction and marketing companies. Some level of scrum master certification is usually required.
